Ted Bell- Hawke November 25, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Really enjoyed the book. This is the first in a series with a central character. I always describe Hawke as a " rich Mitch Rapp". Ted Bell writes a good thriller.
Another piece of crap made in china November 21, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The appearance is nice but the light started randomly dimming and coming back on - I suspect is an imperfect contact - in less than one month after getting it.
Beware - you'll get what you pay for (another chinese piece of crap). I'd save the money and get something like Maglite (made in USA). I have two of those and have been worked perfect!
Defective November 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I thought I would take a chance and get one that doesn't have the spotty on/off problem so many others have reported. No such luck. It doesn't turn on when you click it. If you reseat the battery, or jiggle it around, it will eventually turn on and work, but when you need a flashlight, you need a flashlight, not one five minutes later.
A consistent design flaw or poor construction process.
On the plus side, it looks great, and when it works, it works well. I gave it to my 4-year old and bought a Smith and Wesson 28 light LED flashlight.
One out two November 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased two. One worked, one didn't. That's about par for the course in China. Not worth the effort to return.
impressive October 29, 2008 I found this flashlight at the bottom of a bilge, soaked in oil. It dropped 5' before finding it's home. It was hard to clean out and there was a little rust but it works as if it were brand new. I'd buy one if I didn't get this as a freebie.
