worm lights December 6, 2001 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
the worm light is great to have. i find myself playing games at night. i hate having to keep getting up at night to turn on the lights to play a game. the worm light enhances your light for better game play. the only reason i scored it as a four star is because it sucks the life out of my batteries so i have to constantly go change them if i want to stay up at night and play a game.
better than nothing! December 4, 2001 I was making a collection of gameboy items. While browsing, I saw this.I thought it would work well and I could play in the dark. Nevertheless, it did work quite well in pitch dark if u only want to see part of the screen. If there's light nearby, there's also a terrible glare. But it was better than no light at all, so I credit them for that. It's better than other lights out there.
THE GLARE!!! November 19, 2001 Yes,it may look neat and attractive, but trust me,it is not worth it! The glare from the light covers the entire screen ofmy GBC and makes game play impossible. And,if you try to cooperate with it,it just gives you a big headache. I guess playing in the dark is just not a good idea for now,
Okay light July 15, 2001 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think this is a good invention, but it does have one flaw to it. It causes a glare on the screen of the game boy so you can't see where you are or who's coming at you. Other than that this is a pretty handy light for playing in your room when you're supposed to be asleep.
Go for the next up June 27, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Like my title says, go for the worm light advance. This one works fine. But after a while of bending, the wire attaching the resistor inside the plug area will snap, which is a pain to replace. The advance version has a circuit board inside, from what i have heard is indestrucable under normal use
