I received this set as a Christmas gift. It was packaged in a blue velvet jewelry bag inside a nice dark blue jewelry box. The necklace chain is delicate, but I would not say flimsy. I have received so many compliments on both the earrings and necklace. They are simple, but beautiful- especially in the right light- they really sparkle. It's too bad that the other people who reviewed this set had such bad experiences.

Don't buy this set! When I receieved the earring/pendant set, I was so disappointed. They actually came in a cheap little bag, the chain was knotted, and they looked like they came out of a toy vending machine.

I saw this item and thought I was getting a deal. When I received it, the packaging was horrible. Once I opened it, there was no way I could gift this as a gift to someone. The chain links were flimsy and looked like the would easily break. I returned it immediately.
