Great to purchase if you want to download games to wii. February 17, 2008 I was able to purchase games from wii with points on the card. There are a lot of choices to choose from. Price is pretty much the same I see in the stores.
It's a $20 card - DO NOT PAY MORE February 11, 2008 3 out of 9 found this review helpful
Don't get ripped off - It's $20 direct thru the Wii or at any retail store.
Don't buy this February 9, 2008 3 out of 10 found this review helpful
You would be paying $30 for $20 worth of Wii points. Just buy the normal $20 card, or purchase the same number of points with your credit card on the Wii shop channel.

its a wii points card so you can download games or other fun wii stuff. works well
Love those old Mario Brothers Games! January 26, 2008 I paid $19.99 for this card at a retail video chain store.
I have a wireless router for my laptop and desktop scomputer and was able to easily connect to the router via the Wii with no problems; didn't have to buy an adapter (which Wii sells, I think it's called a LAN adapter) nor did I have to run any wires from the router to the Wii system. And shopping for the games and downloading them are very easy to do.
I bought this soley for the purpose of downloading the Mario games from the 80's and 90's though there are many other games to download...probably around 100 or so. Most of the games are about 500 points (which is $5.00 cash per game, which I think is a steal for some nostalgic fun) though some games will run you 600, 800 or 1000 points. Still, $10.00 for a game is a good price. You will find that the graphics are the same as what you played on the original system, which is fine.
Also, you don't need to buy any extra controllers. For the Super Mario games, you just use the regular Wii controller, turn it to the side with the arrows on your left and the 1 and 2 buttons on your right, hold it in both hands and it acts as a controller that you used back then on the 64 system, etc.
My 7 y/o son loves all the newer games, including Mario, but him and I have a blast playing the ones I played as a teenager.
Worth the $20, even if you chose to buy 2 games that cost 1000 points a piece.
And, I hope they come out with the Sega version of Pitfall as well as a version of Mortal Combat!
