 OEM watch band January 6, 2009
Exact same as original.. If you this for watersports at all, buy nothing but the exact original band. I wear my watch every day and the band fails after 2-3 years. Age alone may cause the rubber to crack. Not worth losing it in the water.
 Pricey November 24, 2008
Not much to say except this is the Seiko replacement band as advertised. It shipped quick and it was less expensive than the watch stores that didn't have them in stock. I'm 99% happy with the entire transaction I just have to comment and say, Dang! For two pieces of rubber this is a pricey item.
Great Fit September 30, 2008
Great vendor, item arrived in one or two days. Fit perfect, pins were a exact fit. Band was slightly different then the oem, however Sieko changed the material slightly over the years. I had questions and concerns about the material. store owner called me personally on the phone. Great product and company. I haved owned the watch for several decades and my next purchase will be the OEM stainless steel and I will use the same company.

Sure is nice to be able to buy original, genuine Seiko watch bands--I've had so much trouble with others purchased in watch stores. It would be nice if new pins came with the band, but I was able to use my old ones ok.

My experience with this band seems to be different than other reviewers. The orginal band on my Seiko Aquamatic lasted only a few months. Great watch,lousy band. It was polyurethane and my experience is that polyurethane bands will crack and break. This was advertised as a rubber watch band. Real rubber will last for years though I haven't seen real rubber watch bands lately. I ordered this as a replacement and in a year or so it also cracked and broke. I replaced with with one I made myself from nylon webbing. The Seiko watch on the other hand is a great self winding watch. The one I have is my second one. The first lasted many years of diving and hard wear.
