 Broke in two months December 2, 2008
It was a nice watch (needed winding, not automatic, but it was heavy, attractive, had great-looking clockwork in the back )... and after two months (30 days past the Amazon guarantee) it broke during a the daily wind -- the winding didn't stick, the stem just unwound itself, and it stopped dead. I've sent it back to Invicta's service department with a $25 check per their instructions, and we'll see what happens. Too bad, it was a very attractive watch and got lots of compiments -- but, you know, it needs to keep time!

This is a BIG watch. No really. I mean it dwarfs the others in my collection. I've probably got smaller-than-average wrists, so it looks almost cartoonish on me. But damn...I LOVE that mother-of-pearl face! I'm less happy with the bezel. I think they should have kept it highly polished, but muted the tops of the markers on it, instead.
If this thing was 75% the size that it is, I'd be quite happy. Mine arrived in good shape and kept time fine the couple of times I've worn it, but I wish I had paid more attention to the specs on the size of the case and read the reviews first...I probably would not have ordered it.
Decent enough watch...but the MSRP of >$1,000 is a total joke and did I mention how freaking HUGE this watch is? :)

This is a really nice watch to look at, but it may not keep the best time...in the short time I have had it, it seems to lose more than a few minutes per day. I didn't by it as an everyday watch, and it is mechanical, so the lost time is not a huge deal but...a new watch should keep good time.
The Beautiful Watch That's Hard To Keep Time October 17, 2008
This watch is nice, but hard to keep time. When I purchased this watch I assumed it was automatic it's not you have to wind it every day annoying, but beautiful so that is why I kept it.

There's NO WAY this watch is regularly $1500.. Invicta's just insulting customers' intelligence by publishing the list price as $1495... This watch doesn't even work, it came DOA. It's a big, good looking watch, dont get me wrong, it's just that the innards don't work.
Doing some research, I've found that Invicta isn't the best company for quality/reliability/durability. They pass cheap chinese movements off as "swiss-quartz", whatever that means, in other watches they sell. I mean, come on, how cheap can a company get-atleast pay the couple bucks more for a japanese movement..
This "regularly $1495" watch didn't even come with an instruction booklet... just some little piece of paper with directions I couldn't even understand and diagrams that looked like some little kid drew them on Microsoft Paint. I finally had to take it to a jeweler, who in turn told me the watch was broken. Sent it back shortly after.
