4 out of 5 stars Elegant simplicity   January 8, 2008

I've had this watch for about six months and wear it every day. It keeps excellent time, and I really like the look. It's not over-the-top; it works well when dressing up or down. I was a little surprised by the weight, but it's hardly noticeable on my wrist.

Here are my minor complaints: The white hands on the white face are sometimes difficult to read without my glasses. I don't use the alarm, but if I did, I'd have to keep the instructions handy the first couple of times I set it; it's not intuitive.

My biggest complaint: The luminescence is worthless. If Timex can make a watch that is easy to read in the dark, why can't "better" watch makers? That's the only reason I don't give this watch five stars.

Other than that, I'm completely satisfied, and I've received many compliments on the watch.
