Arm Band Review December 27, 2008 Cool case. Came with a clear sticker to prevent scratching which is nice. Only thing that could use some work is the part of the case that covers the wheel Sometimes it doesn't respond to my touch so it takes some getting used to.
Belkin Silicone Armband Case for 120GB IPod Classic December 26, 2008 Product arrived as described. Quick delivery. The armband is very comfortable. The case is great for protection of the IPod, but it is not easy to get on & off. I like to use/charge my IPod Classic with my Sony IPod radio. You must remove the armband to do so...no problem. If you leave the silicone case on the IPod, it creates a very snug fit in the charging spot which may cause damage if done continuously. I recommend anyone who uses this type of radio, to remove the silicone case before sitting your IPod on that style radio/charger. Overall I am satisfied with the Armband Case.
Good investment December 18, 2008 This item is truly a good investment. I purchased my armband case about 1 1/2 months ago and I couldn't be happier. I haven't used the armband portion of it yet but I like the fact that you can take the armband strap off and use just the case for the Ipod. The case fits snuggly and I have no problems with it covering up any openings for connections and the covering for the click wheel allows it to still work without problems. I was pleased that it came with some type of covering for the screen but it's only a clear, plastic, sticky overlay; hence, the 4 star rating; however, it does the job..no scratches on my screen..or Ipod yet for that matter!
You get what you pay for December 12, 2008 When I ordered this, I thought the price was too good to be true. I was right. First, the company sent me the wrong product. They sent me the silicone sleeve, but there was no armband. Then, when I told them that, they told me to send it back (at my expense) and they would send me the correct product. I figured it would almost cost me more to mail it back than I had paid for it in the first place. So, I'm using it, without the armband.
The actual silicone sleeve is also not a great product. The screen protector is just a piece of sticky plastic that you have to stick onto your screen. It doesn't even cover the entire screen, and it does nothing to protect the screen from moisture (a problem if you are using it when running or exercising. The sleeve also makes the touchpad almost impossible to use. You'll try to increase the volume and end up skipping tracks or going to the menu.
All in all, you should steer clear of this one.
Nice case better than similar ones December 11, 2008 I like this sleeve/case. It's thin, ruberry silicone that covers the scroll wheel, so it keeps junk out; it makes the usually slippy ipod grippy. There's a thin plastic screen protector with a light adhesive that you're supposed to stick onto your screen. Not beefy, prone to air bubbles, but a bit of protection's better than nothing. I only tried the armband once. It fits my scrawny biceps fine. The unit flops on my arm a little more than I'd like, but to fix that you'd have to have a very wide strap. I didn't want the armband really, just the sleeve. I had a simliar Incipio Dermashot sleeve and it was thinner and the section over the scroll wheel tore after about 6 months of daily use in a blazing hot work truck. The Belkin silicone seems a bit thicker as well as rounder on the corners. The Incipio has no screen protector at all. This one's better for sure. I have no problems operating my scroll wheel through the silicone. I like the fact the wheel is covered to keep out the crumbs and dust from my work truck. Good case.
