Amazon.com Product Description Get ready for undersea discovery and elegant nights on the town with this two-tone Invicta Pro Diver Skeleton stainless steel men's automatic watch, which is topped by a gold-plated unidirectional rotating bezel with 23 hand set diamond-accented elapsed time markings. The diamonds are GH color and SI clarity. The large, round silver watch case measures 44mm wide (1.73 inches) and the back has a skeleton view window into the inner workings of the watch's automatic movement. The blue dial face offers Tritnite luminous dotted markers and hands (with seconds hand), small minute indexes, and a magnified date window at 3 o'clock. The triple-link surgical grade 316L stainless steel bracelet band has a center gold-plated link with a highly polished finish, and it's joined by a diver's buckle with safety clasp. Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and coin-edged bezel for an easy grasp even with gloved hands. An automatic (or self-winding) watch is fitted with a device (rotor) that automatically winds the spring by using the force of gravity. It needs no battery, but it will stop if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time--as long as you're moving, the watch will stay powered. Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet invented the self-winding mechanism in 1770. It worked on the same principle as a modern pedometer, and was designed to wind as the owner walked. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

Just a good decoration of the wrist but not watches May 8, 2008 From the the first sight it should be good looking, luxurious and reliable watches (especially according to price before discount). However if you look at it more attentively you'll see defects, which probably have occurred during the golding process:the gold material painted or sprayed over some internal links in the bracelet.Actually this is just a small detail in comparison with punctuality. In order to have correct time on your watches there is obligatory to wear it permanently, because after tree days without any rushing it will stop completely. The deviation in time after one night 10 min.So if you wanna have decoration; this purchase for you, because I can not call it watches.
Beautiful, Yet Functional Watch March 10, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The Invicta Pro Diver Collection diamond watch #4848 is a simply beautiful watch to reveal from the packaging. As I have never seen an Invicta watch before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say I was very pleased with the product, particularly for the price.
I currently have a Japanese made quartz version of a diver's watch and have had it for some 20 years. It is nice, but getting a little old and dull. As a result, I was looking for a watch that I could wear when going out, as well as on an everyday basis. This watch will fit the bill nicely.
The hands are well proportioned and the watch is easy to read. The face is awesome with a nice color and the bezel turns easily, but not so easily as to knock it out of place. The back is clear, allowing viewing of the movement, although I'm not sure who will be seeing it. The weight of the watch is hefty, without being too heavy and it feels substantial. Finally, the clasp is unusual and very well made. It would be very tough accidentally open the snap and lose the watch, which has happened to me before on cheaper watches.
I would say the watch is well worth the money. It is well built and striking to look at.
Gorgeous watch! January 25, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Stunning sun-ray dial - much brighter than the pictures. Diamonds are very small, only noticed on close inspection. Not too flashy, but for a collector or appreciator, this is a whole lotta watch. Bezel is very tight, no rattle. Nice sweeping second hand. Exibition case-back is cool, but not too much to see. Watch has a good weight to it without being too bulky - looks hefty on small wrists. Date magnifier not as strong as ultr high-end watches, but even without my glasses I can read the date at arms length. Beware of inaccuracies - diameter is probably only 40mm (not including crown), and it is NOT sapphire crystal. Remember, it's much nicer in person! I've had mine 2 months and I wear it more and more.
Beautiful watch January 12, 2008 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This watch is beautiful and looks incredible. It looks the same as a expensive rolex and most of the time people don't the difference. This is a great watch.
