Amazon.com Product Description Looking for a little edge? Invicta's Skeleton Prowler offers this unique design in solid steel with black ionic grid pattern plating and gold-plated accents. This Swiss-made automatic watch features a black grid dial with luminous hour and minute hands and a sweep second hands. A cut-out window on the hour hand allows a view of the inner workings of the watch, and the dial plate itself rotates as it marks the time. The dial is capped with an anti-reflective hardened mineral crystal and framed by a wide grid bezel with bold Arabic numerals signifying the hours. In a unique design feature, the bezel also holds the automatic date calendar, featured at the six o'clock position. The watch is showcased on a black ionic PVD plated steel bracelet with gold-plated knurled inserts. It boasts Swiss automatic movement, visible through an exhibition case back, and is rated water resistant to 100 meters.

Needs better quality control September 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
UPDATE: I've tried again with #3774, a sister model, and so far the new watch is doing okay. See more extended comments in that review. Amazon took a couple of weeks to process the refund on this model. And the prices of various sister models have been jumping around like crazy--shop carefully. **************
I loved the look and feel of this (rather large and heavy) watch. Within one day, the date function failed--apparently the special gears don't mesh properly. I returned this, then tried the blue version (#3774). Again, a beautiful design. Within a week, the bracelet clasp failed. This is a pretty expensive watch, supposedly Swiss made. What is going on with quality control? Do others have experience with this set of Invicta watches? Is it worth trying once more, or should I give up, on the brand and/or this family of watches?
