Amazon.com Product Description A great choice for an everyday timepiece, this Invicta stainless steel unisex watch features a subtle style that matches well with both professional and casual couture. The large, round watch case measures approximately 40mm wide (1.57 inches) and is topped by a flattened, polished bezel, which frames the shimmery dark gray sunray dial face. It includes a Tritnite luminous stick markers, small minute and second indexes, date window at 3 o'clock, and Tritnite luminous baton hands (with seconds hand). It's completed by a handsome stainless steel bracelet band that features a grooved texture on the center link and a fold-over clasp. Other features include a precise Swiss quartz movement, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours. About Invicta Latin for "invincible," Invicta was founded in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland in 1837 by Raphael Picard, who believed that fine Swiss timepieces could be offered at modest prices. For more than a century, the company has created distinctive manual and automatic-winding pieces. In 1991, descendants of the Picard family reaffirmed the company's founding principle, and the invigorated Invicta has been growing ever since with one of the most widely diverse collections of precise Swiss timepieces on the market.

A worthy gift June 20, 2008 I gave this timepiece to my two groomsmen at my wedding, and everyone was wow'ed by the watches. They were packaged in a handsome padded box, and while yellow isn't my color, the display was actually top notch. As of this writing this watch is unavailable, but I can definitely recommend them as a gift, for yourself, or as something to tuck away in case you have an "emergency" that calls for a sophisticated looking watch for a very reasonable price.
Handsome watch; Good value May 8, 2008 This Invicta watch is the latest of several from Amazon and other sources. Amazon continues to impress with their service and value, while Invicta continues to impress with the quality of their products. This is a handsome and understated casual timepiece. It is well constructed, keeps accurate time, and comes with a band large enough for most any wrist. At the price paid, it can't be beat. As with all Invicta watches I've purchased to date, this one is highly recommended.
Picture not very good January 12, 2007 I thought from the photo the watch would have a brushed or matt finish. It is in fact polished on the case and band. A more formal appearence than I expected, It does appear to be well made and substantial. The band was a generous length, and I normally have a hard time finding a watch that fits me out of the box.
