Opens most of my watches December 29, 2008 This Threejaw watch opener certainly does the job it was intended to do. Most of my watches, and I have about a dozen, open with this tool. All that have the 5 or 6 notches on the backing can be opened with it. I have replaced batteries in three watches so far, and have saved money already.
so far so good December 18, 2008 I have been using this product for over 6 months and I have found it more then adequate for the money spent on it. I am happy to say that because others of the same nature cost more then what I spent on this set. I endorse this tool set with confidence. I added this part after some more thoughts. It is important that when using this that you understand most gaskets last only a few years so order some extras for yourself to have and also the goo/sealant for the threads is a must. with out these other ingredients your watch will not be as water resistant as it was. I hope this helps...Namaste'
The pins don't fit November 26, 2008 I could not figure out how to get the pins to stay in the slots, which negated every other positive aspect of this tool. It looks good, has a nice case, feels nice to the touch, and comes with 4 types of pins. However, the slots have small protrusions that prevent the pins from sliding in securely. There were no instructions, also.
sucky. October 10, 2008 I was able to open one watch with this. The rest I fought for hours trying to get the pins to stay when i went to unscrew the back. don't waste your time with this. i'm ready to throw mine in the garbage.
Watch Case Wrench July 30, 2008 I was getting tired of using needle-nose pliers to get the backs off my watches, so this was the perfect product for me. It was mailed quickly and is as described. I would buy from this company again.
