One of TechnoMarine's signature designs, the exotic Maori is inspired by the frescoes and face tattoos of the New Zealand Maori tribes. This extraordinary watch features a large brushed and polished steel case with an arrow-tip shape. Beneath the virtually scratch-proof sapphire crystal lies the silver-on-black tattoo dial, featuring luminous hands and markers plus a sweep seconds hand. A distinctive triangular crown completes the look. The watch presents on an integrated black rubber strap with a raised tattoo design and a deployment buckle clasp. This TechnoMarine watch offers precise Swiss quartz movement and is rated water resistant to 50 meters. About TechnoMarine
Franck Dubarry was a successful advertising executive, credited with building several French prestige brands when, in 1997, he set out to create a prestige brand of his own, a collection of watches under the name TechnoMarine. A watch aficionado with a keen sense of style and a passion for sailing and diving, Dubarry began with the concept of a "vacation souvenir watch." His first design, dubbed the Raft, placed a fine precision chronograph on a transparent plastic strap--an unusual combination at the time. It sold 50,000 models in the first year, and on its heels came the even more iconoclastic TechnoDiamond, with its radical marriage of diamonds and plastic that others in the watchmaking industry called "insane."
From those initial designs, TechnoMarine established a whole new class of timepieces--less stuffy than the existing crop of high-end watches, yet equally impressive in quality, craftsmanship, and style. Characterized by daring designs, luxury touches, and eclectic combinations of materials, TechnoMarine's offerings made waves in the watch industry, and offered consumers a whole new set of choices.
Today, TechnoMarine offers a broad range of fine and fascinating watches, crafted with high quality features such as sapphire crystals and Swiss movements, and individualized with a dizzying array of strap choices. From the playful yet sophisticated Ceramique to the high-performance TechnoSport dive watches, to the exotic Maori collection, TechnoMarine has a watch to suit every individual style.
