As much an artful piece of jewelry as a precise Swiss timepiece, the Invicta Charmed stainless steel women's watch (model 2430) features a unique hourglass design and comes with two tiny hanging charms, which are attached to the lower left corner. It has a highly polished silver stainless steel case that frames a black dial background with stylized triangular dial markers and Arabic numerals. It's completed by a genuine stingray strap in black, which features tiny, textured bumps. It also features Tritnite luminous hands and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet). Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

 Great look, functionally difficult to read January 12, 2008
I love the look of the watch, although the reflection from the crystal and the artistic design of the face and hands makes it hard for me to read. I love the look of the band's leather, but I think I would have prefered a standard buckle; the special clasp makes it a bit thick and uncomfortable. Watch arrived as scheduled and is still working fine. Good deal for the price.

I have read other reviews about the watch being too large, but it looked great on my g.f.'s wrist, although she is 5'8" tall, 142 lbs. I guess if your lady is petite, then it may look a little large. The shape is like no other, but not overbearing. The strap was OK, although I would have liked to see something more plain. The g.f. thought it was just fine. Initially, the clasp is awkward, like a chinese puzzle, but once you get it adjusted, your good to go.
