Amazon.com Product Description Boldly modern with a playful watch face, the Invicta Lupah Dragon (model 2093) offers a perfect accessory match to today's contemporary casual dress. This precise Swiss-made chronograph timepiece features a highly polished stainless steel case that measures 43mm wide (1.69 inches). The champagne dial face features a spirograph-like Guilloche curved pattern, large stylized numerals and a chronograph that resembles a smiling face, with measurements for 1/10th of a second, 60 seconds, and 30 minutes of elapsed time. Other features include Tritnite luminous hands, a rounded, bulbous shaped mineral crystal, date display, and a black stain-/scratch-/fade-/water-resistant padded Italian Lorica strap that's made from a special microfiber blend. The watch is also water-resistant to 100 meters. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

More a piece of jewelry than a functional watch April 14, 2008 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is definitely an attention-grabbing accessory. But, after owning it for a couple of months, I've decided that it's more a piece of jewelry than a functional watch. That's not to say it doesn't keep good time: it keeps excellent time. It's just that you can't easily tell what time it is by glancing at it.
The crown is a huge magnifying crystal. If you're looking straight down at the face of the watch, it does a great job magnifying the face. This would be super in a wall clock, which you often look at straight on. But on a watch, unless you twist your wrist so you're looking directly at the face, the crystal distorts the face sufficiently that it's hard to tell what time it is. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the hands are white on off-white. (And they do not glow in the dark more than a few minutes.) So you really have to look to see what time it is. There's no discretely checking the time during long meetings or when someone's droning on relentlessly.
With regards to the chronograph: I had assumed that the sweep hand was a second hand, and the dials were for the chronograph. That's not the case: the top right dial is the second hand, and the sweep hand is part of the chronograph, measuring 10th's of a second. That's not a problem, but it is odd. Also, I find that I push the very large buttons without intending to or realizing that I've done so. This means I can't fully trust the chronograph for timing long-ish things like parking meters, as I may have stopped the chronograph for some indeterminate period of time by accidentally pushing the buttons. That reduces the chronograph's usefulness somewhat.
Finally, a word to the wise: if you're travelling or going to court, remove this watch before going through the metal detector. I got a very intimate inspection at the airport after trying twice to pass through the metal detectors, and beeping both times. On my return trip, I took off the watch and didn't beep at all.
It may sound like I don't like the watch. That's not true. I wear it most every day. But, by buying it online, I didn't find all this out until after I bought it, so I thought I'd let others know in advance what I would've preferred to know before I bought it.
Strong watch, great looks February 13, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love Invictas, but have had some issues with the mineral crystal glass breaking. This watch can take rough use. I've dropped it on near every type of city surface with not problems and very few scratches. It still looks good as a classically styled timepiece.
Believe that it's BIG! February 5, 2008 Understand that when reviewers say this is big, they mean it. The picture on amazon reads very flat. This watch face really shines and the color is very rich looking. It's not the easiest thing to read in the beginning, but once you get used to it, it's fine. It truly is a handsome piece.
great looking watch January 26, 2008 I purchased this quarts watch for myself and when it arrived it was immediately purchased this time from me by a friend who just liked it as much as I did. I just purchased another as a result. It is practical and in vogue.
A piece of work January 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this one for my boyfriend, and he loved it! i love it too!! It's really elegant but can be wore with jeans, it's big, bold, beautifully crafted.
I am really satified with the product, i even tried it myself and i loved the way it looks.
