Five sparkling round-cut diamonds, with a total weight of 3/4 carat, are held in four-prong basket settings, forming a ribbon of brilliance across the top of this elegant 18 karat white gold band. The diamonds are raised slightly above the band, allowing light to filter through their facets and enhance their optical performance. The stones and band are about uniform in width, creating a smooth, elegant line. The band has a thickness of between 2.2 and 2.4mm and a width of between 2.8 and 3.0mm. The diamonds featured here are of exceptional quality. With a color rating of G-H, they are in the uppermost range of near colorless and appear dazzling white to the eye. They have a clarity of VS2 to SI1, meaning there are very small inclusions that are difficult to see under 10x magnification, and impossible to see with the unaided eye. Their cool sparkle is perfectly complemented by the bright gleam of the 18 karat white gold. A custom jeweler will be able to resize this ring. It is a normal process to then tighten the settings to ensure the stability of your gemstones.
