  Beware of poor diamond quality October 29, 2006
I bought this necklace intending to give it as a gift last Christmas. When it arrived, I was extremely disappointed by the visible inclusions in the diamond. Even in dim light, the diamond has a very poor appearance. When placed under direct light, the stone's poor clarity makes it appear very cheap. Although this isn't an expensive piece of jewelry, for the price I would expect something better than an industrial-grade diamond. Unfortunately I waited too long to return it and it's still sitting in a drawer, because I was embarrassed to give it as a gift.
