I just received this and yes it is shiny, has a nice chain that holds this large 2" by 2" inch nice looking, heavy duty, sterling silver circle. But the circle is too large for my taste. It is a nice peice of jewelry if you like LARGE jewery.

The pendant is striking, shiny, and great to look at. The diameter of the pendant is the size that I expected and the necklace itself is adjustable so you can choose how high or low you want to wear it. Great purchase, would buy it again.
