Product Description In Star Wars: Bounty Hunter you'll learn the story of how Jango Fett was chosen as the template for the Clone Army, while you go on the deadliest bounty hunter missions!
Amazon.com Review Set in the interval between The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, this first-person adventure lets you step into the role of the galaxy's most heavily armed bounty hunter, Jango Fett, as you track a renegade Jedi across the galaxy, collecting information (and bounties) along the way. In addition to Jango's trademark dual blaster pistols, your armor bristles with gadgets and weaponry: darts, flamethrower, blowtorch, scanner, cable snare, and--of course--a missile-launching jetpack. Use this arsenal to battle hordes of uncooperative guards, fend off rival bounty hunters, scale precipitous skyscrapers, and capture fugitives--dead or alive. The basic controls are surprisingly easy to master, and you've got enough armament at your disposal to fight your way out of almost any situation. Still, some finesse is required: as fun as it is to walk into a room and blast everything in sight (and it is fun--especially when you're the one wearing the jetpack), you may discover when the smoke clears that the guy you just fried was worth twice as much alive. Oh well... The complex storyline is revealed by extended cutscenes that let you rest your thumbs while Jango follows up the next lead. (Star Wars fans will appreciate the quality and detail of these scenes, as well as the fidelity of the story arc--namely how Jango is chosen as the model for the clone troopers in Episode II.) And anyone familiar with the Lucas Arts suite of games will not be disappointed by the superior graphics, music, sound effects, and fully realized characters and locations. The pace of the game is up to you: methodically seek out the secrets of each level, or ruthlessly blast your way to the big payoff. --Maile Bohlmann Pros: - Impressive graphics and rich detail
- Excellent scripting and voicing
- Nice balance between action and strategy
- Controller setup is intuitive and easy to learn
Cons: - Long stretches between save points
- Climbing sequences can become redundant
- Weapons must be holstered to use scanner, leaving you vulnerable
Amazon.com Product Description Through Jango Fett--father of Boba Fett--players will plunge into the dark, deadly world of a bounty hunter. Inspired by events between Episode I and Episode II, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter presents an original, compelling, third-person action experience that establishes Jango Fett's place in the Star Wars galaxy and his connection to the notorious Clone Army. The game draws players into Jango Fett's sinister and seedy world, where thieves and assassins thrive. Using his cunning and a host of deadly skills, Jango Fett ventures into the rarely explored dark side of the Star Wars universe to track down the elusive leader of a mysterious and deadly cult. All the while, he'll compete against a brutal rival from his past in a quest to capture the ultimate bounty, dead or alive. Gameplay emphasizes intense combat and physical action in the relentless pursuit of prey across six fantastic worlds and 18 levels. Jango Fett faces off against an onslaught of the worst scum in the universe, including crime lords, corrupt politicians, and enemies of various species. He is equipped with an arsenal of powerful weapons such as dual blaster pistols, a flamethrower, missiles, and a distinctive jet pack.

Truly a great game October 29, 2008 I'm by no means a huge gamer, but I do have quite a soft spot for Bounty Hunter. The game gives a strong and interesting backstory to Jango Fett while engaging you in enjoyable gameplay. There's something intangible about this game that makes it feel...real. It's not that the graphics are absolutely impeccable, though they're generally quite good - not to mention the mindblowing cutscenes, courtesy of ILM. There's just something about the way the levels are laid out, about the combination of sneaking around and having shootouts with the enemy, about the sound design, about the variety of experiences you have on the different worlds. It's just generally a lot of fun to play.
The controls are quite easy to use, for the most part, though that's not to say the game itself is always easy. Certain areas can become quite difficult to get through, particularly when there are multiple enemies with missile launchers or sniper rifles...or when facing the genuinely scary Bando Gora for the first time.
The only real downside to this game is the lack of any real puzzles. Although you're not shooting all the time, you're almost always either doing that or sneaking around, trying to figure out where to go. In that sense, there's perhaps a little less intellectual stimulation than I'd like. But it's still quite a blast.
Bottom line: if you're a Star Wars fan, you'll have a great time playing this game, and you'll look awesome in the process, too. =P Jango has a propensity for doing that, no matter whether he's flying, blasting away at multiple enemies with both pistols, capturing bounties, flipping through the air in unusual ways, or all of the above at the same time.

I played the game at my friend house then got it at a gamestop it was pretty good exept for the bando gora and the blood that comes out when u kill them.(use a flamthrower for banodo gora)the last leval named final confirmation vosa was not that hard but the rest of the game was hard the game had good gameplay(for vosa i recommend using your heavy blaster or keep firing dual blaster fast and run away on jet pack, but when she starts blocking thatswhen u have to wait for her to come up to u then just use your rope and tire her up and shot her fast) i recommend this game for 9 year olds though for other pepole please read my recommenddation at the top
Jango Fett Rocks April 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this game back in 2004 and was amazed at the graphics quality and control sceme. Going through Tattooine,Corusant, and many other star wars planets were amazing. There is a lot of repetivness but seeing what happens next is worth it. I don't know if George Lucas considers this official star wars canon or not but it tells you all about Jango Fett before attack of the clones. The levels are tremendously long and tough in the later missions. They take full avantage of all the aliens and creatures star wars has to offer including tusken raiders ,toydarians, dougs, gammorians, rodians, hutt, nexu, and krayt dragons. I wish they could have added multiplayer where you could play as other star wars bounty hunters or at least after you beat the game (which is very hard by the way) get an alternate Bobo Fett costume. The jetpack only lasts for about a few sceconds and the camera can be tricky at times but besides that this game is great for any star wars fan to add to his or her collection.
star wars bounty hunter January 10, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Star wars bounty hunter starts with you fighting a beast but you don,t have your jet pack because Meeko knocked it off. Then later in the next level he buys it back. But the whole idea about the game is that he's after a deranged jedi with two red lightsabers with a 5 million republic credits reward. Then on the last level you verse her.But he dosn't work alone he also finds another bounty hunter called Zam.He also goes on lots of intrepid adventures.I will tell you a secret about the game if you get stuck be shore you look around everywhere because usually there's a space you can crawl into.
