Product Description The Disney or Pixar team is at it again, and this time they've created an animated motion picture that's all about monsters! Of course, that's the perfect occasion for a video game, and thus the release of this delightful title inspired by the film. The object of the game is to make your way through each level by scaring humans (any monster worth his salt can scare a few measly humans, right?), collecting items, and discovering hidden areas. The setting jumps back and forth between Monsteropolis and the real world, resulting in 10 of the craziest levels anyone's ever laid eyes on. There are tons of puzzles to solve, characters to meet, and puzzles to unlock and solve throughout the adventure, and you can access all of your progress by entering a password on the main menu. The game is for one player only, but who needs real friends when you can hand out with the coolest monsters ever? Some monsters want to keep you up at night, but these guys are just trying to scare up a little fun.

Not for new users July 2, 2002 My 5 year old daughter received a gameboy advanced with this game for her birthday. She tried playing it, after I read her the instructions but soon became frustrated. For a kid who has not had much exposure to video games this is not a good first game. I had a lot of fun with it but it does not "guide" the player, so you need to be able to read (and remember) the instructions.
My son loves this game... December 4, 2001 28 out of 39 found this review helpful
My 6 yr old son has enjoyed this game so much that I have to force him to put it down. My 4 yr old has enjoyed it just as much.
