I actually display this on my combat vest here in Iraq. It even caused my platoon sergeant to tell me to take it off because it was offensive. Too bad for him, he didn't tell the guys wearing rosaries to take theirs off too.
I love the tarnished look and it's anti-reflective qualities allow me to wear it on my vest and not make me look like a gangsta with bling-bling.
My only complaint is that the leather cord it comes with was tied wrong so that no matter how I would wear it, the cross always flips backwards. I just used a different chain and it works fine.
It's cheaply made but looks more like dark, tarnished metal, which I like.

I bought this inverted cross from Dan's Jewelers. The delivery speed was amazing and came only a few days after I ordered. My items were safely packaged and the inverted cross was better then I expected. Great product.

Thankfully, the pendant in this picture does indeed match the actual pendant and is not in anyway misleading. The measurements are accurate and the dark blacks are well accented. It comes with a very nice (at first somewhat confusing :P) cord, of some sort of fiber material. Because I already had a different cord I had been meaning to use for this pendant I do not know how quality of a cord it was.
I never particularly liked inverted crosses because they always seemed kind of lame or corny to me, but I was surprised as to how well this one was pulled off. I don't wear it to work as to not offend anyone, but it really is a wonderful design!

The cross itself is very pretty, but unfortunately the hoop broke off just days after being worn for the first time. It didn't take much effort at all, I just accidentally dropped it on some grass and the hoop broke off, so now I have no way of wearing it. It's very cheaply made, but the design is very nice, and there's no denying that's a beautiful piece of jewelry. Buy at your own risk.
